8GB (Akira Kei) is an audiovisual producer and DJ based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, who has been creating music since 1994 and performing live since 2004. His work merges his visual and musical practices, alongside his fascination with pushing the limits of old computer hardware to achieve maximum creative expression. His connection to the underground computer arts scene of the early 90s also plays a significant role in his artistic identity. Recently, he has been developing new software for the Amiga computer that enables DJing with MOD source files, specifically the PT-1210 MK1, which has garnered attention from both music and technology media outlets.
